The act on transparency and security in the nuclear field is a major step forward in the regulation of nuclear safety and radiation protection, in that it creates a right of access to the information in the possession of those responsible for nuclear activities. It also improves and clarifies ASN's role, strengthens its independence and its legitimacy in the field of public information.
